VEEZO: managed detection and blocking of network threats
VEEZO is a cybersecurity service developed by the Belgian company Ozoos. Gateways on your network continuously analyse inbound and outbound traffic, intercept malicious communications and present the level of risk in dashboards that both IT and management can read.
Cyber Praxis has been a VEEZO partner since October 2026: we bring integration, governance and forensic expertise; VEEZO brings continuous detection and blocking.
The problem it solves
- Security tools are in place, but there is no consolidated view of the actual risk.
- No SOC team to watch the network around the clock.
- Industrial or connected environments where no agent can be installed.
- A NIS2 obligation to detect and respond to incidents that is hard to demonstrate.
What VEEZO does
Transparent deployment
Physical or virtual gateways sit on the network with no agents, no topology changes and no heavy configuration.
Detection and blocking
Intrusion prevention, known attacks (CVEs), command-and-control servers, data exfiltration, lateral movement, bots: malicious communications are intercepted.
Managed 24/7 service
Gateways are continuously monitored by an operations centre and receive rules from the threat analysis centre in real time.
Dashboards
Risk level, new and active incidents, timeline, communication map: a readable picture of network risk.
Guided response
Each incident is described, with the action VEEZO took and the recommended next steps; alerts are sent by email.
Periodic reports
Weekly or monthly reports: threats blocked, compromised devices, exploited vulnerabilities, exfiltration attempts.
What VEEZO covers in CyFun, and what it does not
The publisher analysed, measure by measure, VEEZO's contribution to the 99 measures of the CyFun “Important” level. The result is clear: a strong contribution to detection and response, almost none to governance.
| CyFun function | Measures | Average VEEZO contribution |
|---|---|---|
| Govern | 19 | 2% |
| Identify | 31 | 23% |
| Protect | 28 | 13% |
| Detect | 10 | 60% |
| Respond | 7 | 52% |
| Recover | 4 | 10% |

What Cyber Praxis does
VEEZO provides the technical foundation for detection. We build it into a complete compliance approach.
Scoping
Identifying the segments to monitor (IT, OT, IoT, data centre) and where to place the gateways.
Deployment
Installing and commissioning the gateways, setting alert and report recipients.
Incident follow-up
Analysing significant alerts and, where needed, carrying out a forensic investigation to establish what happened.
Compliance
Mapping the results to CyFun and NIS2 measures, and handling the organisational measures the tool does not cover.
Frequently asked questions about VEEZO
Do I need a SOC team to use VEEZO?
No. VEEZO is a managed service: detection and blocking are autonomous, gateways are monitored continuously, and every incident comes with a description and recommended actions.
Does VEEZO replace the firewall or antivirus?
No. It complements existing protection with network detection and a consolidated view of risk that those tools do not provide on their own.
Does deployment disrupt the network?
The gateways run transparently, with no topology changes and no agents on devices. They are optimised for minimal user impact.
How does VEEZO help with NIS2?
It mainly contributes to the detection and incident response requirements, with reports that serve as evidence. Governance and organisational requirements must be handled separately, which we do as part of our CyFun audits.
